Villa Parun and Parun House Terms and Conditions

Villa Parun and Parun House are hereinafter referred to as Holiday Houses.

Introductory provisions

Holiday Houses provide accommodation services in compliance with the present Terms and Conditions based on confirmation and specification for each booking. Holiday Houses Parun shall not be held responsible for any circumstances beyond our control such as war, terrorism, sabotage, riot, strike, natural disaster or act of god, epidemics, prohibitions, restrictions imposed by local authorities etc.

Booking and Payment

By booking Holiday Houses, Client fully accepts the present Terms and Conditions. Consequently, everything set forth herein becomes binding for both Client and Holiday Houses Parun. Client is required to provide all necessary booking information. Booking shall become valid upon Client’s payment of the booking deposit. Client must be 18 years of age to make a booking.

Residence Tax

Client shall pay residence tax in compliance with regulations pertaining to payment of residence tax. The entire cost of residence tax is included in the rent.

Rental Rates          

Rental rates are weekly as stated in the price list. The rental price comprises bedlinen, towels and final cleaning. Additional services may be ordered separately upon booking. Holiday Houses may change the fees charged for services at any time. Holiday Houses Parun guarantee prices in effect at the time of booking to Clients who have paid the deposit or provided adequate booking guarantee.

Payment Terms

By confirming the booking, Client accepts the following payment terms:

A deposit of 30% of the cost is payable within three business days, otherwise the booking shall not be confirmed. Clients may pay the full balance of the rental price in advance.

70% of the cost may be paid in cash upon arrival or shortly before arrival by transfer to our bank account.

Categorisation and Services

Villa Parun has been categorised by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia as a 4-star holiday house. Parun House has been categorised by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia as a 3-star holiday house.

Arrival and Departure Times

Clients may check in at any time after 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival (unless earlier arrival has not been previously agreed, depending on availability of Holiday Houses). Clients are asked to leave Holiday Houses by 10 a.m. (unless later departure has not been previously agreed and set forth in the reservation).

Right of Holiday House to Change or Cancel Reservations

Holiday Houses Parun may, at their discretion, change the reservation or the manner in which the services are provided due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control which cannot be foreseen, avoided or rescheduled and to refund full deposit paid.

Guests’s Right to Change or Cancel Reservations

In the event that Client wishes to change or cancel a reservation made at his/her request, s/he is required to do so in writing (by e-mail, mail or fax). If the reservation is cancelled 30 days before planned arrival to Villa Parun, Client shall receive refund of full deposit paid.

Travel Insurance

Holiday Houses Parun strongly recommends all its Clients to purchase travel insurance which covers reservation cancellations.

Holiday Houses Obligation to Client



Holiday Houses are to pay constant attention to the quality of provided services in compliance with regulations, professional standards and standard rules in tourism and hospitality sector. Holiday Houses Parun shall seek to fully meet the undertaken obligations except in circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Client Obligations

Client is required to obtain and possess all required personal documents necessary upon checking in and checking out of Holiday Houses. Client shall take proper care of rented property. During the entire rental period, Client shall abide by local rules, which particularly refers to respecting your neighbours.

Breakages or Damage

Client is bound to promptly reimburse the owners for any damage or loss whether caused by wilful or deliberate acts of Client or his/her party. Client is fully responsible for all damage.

Responsibility of Holiday Houses 

Holiday Houses are not liable for any loss or damage to any Client’s personal belongings  or for injuries, accidents or death occurring during Client’s stay. Clients assume full responsibility for the use of all amenities of Holiday Houses.

Arbitration

Parties shall seek to amicably settle any claim or dispute. However, should this prove impossible, they agree that the court of competent jurisdiction shall be the court in Pula.
